What we collect through this site, why, and how it's protected.
1What We Collect
Our Contact form, Inquire drawer, and Sales Agreement form collect the information needed to respond to you and, where applicable, process a puppy reservation: name, email, phone number, mailing address, state or province, selected puppy, message content, payment method preference, and an electronic signature. We do not collect any information beyond what these forms visibly ask for.
2Cookies & Local Storage
This site does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts. The only browser storage we use is your device's own local storage, which temporarily saves your in-progress answers on the Contact and Sales Agreement forms so a refresh doesn't erase what you've typed. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted anywhere on its own, and is cleared automatically once a form is successfully submitted.
3How It's Used
Submissions are used only to respond to inquiries, process reservations, arrange delivery, and maintain our own sales records. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4Third-Party Services
Form submissions are delivered directly through our own mail server — we don't route your information through any third-party form-processing service. The one exception is optional PDF generation on the Sales Agreement page, which happens entirely inside your own browser and is never uploaded anywhere except as an attachment to the confirmation email you and we both receive.
5Storage & Security
Submitted information is stored in our email and sales records, kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, and accessed only by the people running Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppies. Our contact mailbox is protected with a private password and is not shared with any outside party.
6Data Retention
General inquiry messages are typically retained for up to 12 months to allow for follow-up. Completed Sales Agreements, including the buyer information and signature they contain, are retained for the working life of the guarantee and refund policies described elsewhere on this site, since they may be needed to resolve a health guarantee or refund matter.
7Children's Privacy
This site and its forms are intended for adults capable of entering a binding Sales Agreement, consistent with our Terms & Conditions. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and any form submission should be made by a parent or guardian on a family's behalf.
8Do Not Track
Because this site does not use tracking cookies or analytics in the first place, browser "Do Not Track" signals have no additional effect here — there is simply nothing being tracked to opt out of.
9Your Rights
You can ask us to review, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@crowncavalierpups.com. We'll respond to any such request within a reasonable timeframe, typically within a few business days.
10Changes to This Policy
This page may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in how the site operates; the version posted here is always the current one. We encourage checking back periodically, particularly before submitting a new form.
