Delivery Options

Four ways to bring your puppy home — pick whichever fits your family best.

1Overview

Every delivery method includes the same care standard: your puppy travels with a small supply of the food they're already used to, a comfort item that carries the scent of their littermates, and complete documentation. Fees below are added to the $550 puppy price and are also calculated live on the Sales Agreement form as you select your puppy and delivery method, so there's never any guesswork about your total before you sign.

We built four distinct options because every family's situation is different — some want the reassurance of an in-person meeting, others need a puppy delivered to their door on a specific date, and some simply aren't ready to commit to a pickup date yet. Whichever you choose, the underlying care standard doesn't change.

2Preparing for Delivery Day

Before any puppy travels, we ask buyers to have a few basics ready at home: a properly sized crate or exercise pen, a bag of the same puppy food your Cavalier has been eating (we'll tell you exactly which brand so the transition doesn't upset their stomach), a collar and leash, and a plan for who will be home to greet them. If you're bringing home more than one puppy from this litter, see the Multiple-Puppy Orders section below for logistics specific to that situation.

We also strongly recommend scheduling your puppy's first veterinary visit before delivery day even arrives, so you're not scrambling to find a vet within the 72-hour window required by our Health Guarantee.

3Ship to Buyer's Nearest Airport — +$250

Your puppy flies with an approved, experienced flight nanny directly to the major airport nearest you, traveling in the cabin rather than as cargo whenever the route and airline allow it. This is our most common option for families more than a day's drive away who don't want to wait for ground transport.

We'll coordinate flight timing with you in advance, confirm the exact terminal and gate for handoff, and provide tracking details and a direct phone line to the flight nanny on the day of travel. Most airport handoffs take place in a quiet, low-traffic area of the terminal away from crowds, so your puppy's first meeting with you is calm rather than overwhelming.

Airport delivery typically takes place within 3–10 days of your reservation being finalized, depending on flight availability and your preferred date. We'll always confirm a specific date with you before booking anything.

4Ship to Buyer's Home Address — +$300

Ground transportation brings your puppy directly to your front door in a climate-controlled vehicle, with scheduled rest, water, and comfort stops built into the route rather than a straight-through drive. This tends to be the gentlest option for puppies who haven't flown before, since there's no airport noise or unfamiliar handlers along the way.

Delivery windows are confirmed 24–48 hours in advance, and our driver will call or text roughly 30 minutes before arrival so someone is ready at the door. Home delivery is currently available throughout the continental United States and Canada; transit time depends on distance but is typically 1–4 days from departure.

5Local Pickup at Seller's Address — No Fee

Local and regional families are welcome to visit and pick up their puppy directly, by appointment, at no additional cost. This is a great option if you'd like a short in-person meet-and-greet with the puppy and, where available, their parents, before heading home — many buyers tell us this reassurance is worth the drive on its own.

Pickup appointments typically run 20–30 minutes and include a walkthrough of feeding schedule, any quirks specific to your puppy, and a final review of the paperwork you're taking home. We ask that pickups be scheduled at least 24 hours ahead so we can have everything ready when you arrive.

6Reservation Before Pickup — $300 Deposit

Not quite ready to commit to a delivery date, or want to lock in a specific puppy while you finish preparing your home? A $300 flat deposit reserves your chosen puppy immediately and takes them off the market for other inquiries. This deposit is credited in full toward your final total — it is never an additional charge on top of the puppy price and shipping fee.

Once your reservation deposit is received, we'll keep in touch with photo and video updates and work with you to schedule the delivery method of your choice (airport, home, or pickup) whenever you're ready. The remaining balance, including whichever delivery fee applies, is due at that time.

7Multiple-Puppy Orders

Reserving more than one puppy from the same litter for the same delivery date and destination only incurs a single delivery fee, not one per puppy — the Sales Agreement calculator applies this automatically once you've selected more than one puppy and a shared shipping option. If you're bringing home two littermates together, this is often the most economical way to do it, and littermates traveling together tend to settle in faster than puppies who travel alone.

8What to Expect on Delivery Day

Before

Confirmation Call

We confirm timing, location, and any last questions 24–48 hours ahead, and share tracking details for airport or ground transport.

Day Of

Handoff & Paperwork

You'll receive vaccination records, AKC paperwork, and your written Health Guarantee at handoff, along with a printed feeding and care sheet.

After

Check-In

We follow up within a few days to see how the first nights at home are going, and remain reachable well beyond that.

9Weather & Rescheduling

Puppy safety always comes before convenience. If temperatures at any point along the route (departure, layover, or arrival) fall outside the safe range for young puppies, or if severe weather threatens ground travel, we will reschedule rather than risk your puppy's wellbeing. There is never a fee for a weather-related reschedule, and we'll work with you to find the very next safe travel window.

10Travel Safety & Compliance

All air and ground travel follows current USDA pet transport guidelines and airline pet-safety requirements, including minimum-age-for-travel rules and weather-based restrictions. Flight nannies and ground drivers we work with are experienced specifically with young toy-breed puppies, not general pet couriers, and every puppy travels with proper identification and documentation for the trip.

11Delivery FAQs

Yes, as long as your puppy hasn't already been booked for travel. Just reach out and we'll adjust the agreement and any fee difference.

Not at this time. International placements involve import regulations and quarantine rules that vary widely by country, so we currently limit delivery to the continental US and Canada.

Our driver will call or text ahead, and we build a buffer into the schedule, but puppies are never left unattended at a doorstep. If a genuine emergency comes up, contact us immediately so we can reschedule the same day if possible.
